        DescriptionA thermometer consisting of a thin glass tube filled with a clear liquid (pentane) resting inside an outer glass tube that also contains a milk glass scale for the thermometer, calibrated from -200°C to 50°C with a 1 degree precision. It has a cylindrical bulb filled with a clear liquid (and an air bubble) at one end, while at the other end it has a small glass sphere.
