DescriptionGlass spectrum tube consisting of two larger tubes connected by a thinner capillary tube. Each end contains a sealed electrode in the shape of a long needle which connect outside to small metal hoops. There is a side tube near one of the ends of the tube that makes a 90 degree turn and is closed at its end, and on the other side the end is covered with tape.
The tube is darkened near the electrode on the end having the side tube.
