        DescriptionGas fired boiler with a semi-circular tank (4.75" x 4.75" x 17.5"). Long wooden strips of insulation run the length of the tank, secured by three brass bones. The tank is mounted on a rectangular wood base with four round feet, to match the model engine. There is a brass valve at one end of the tank and a brass valve with piping on the top at that end of the tank.

        Curatorial RemarksAlthough the maker of this model and boiler is not known, the objects were acquired in France and may be of French origin.
