DescriptionA resistance standard made by Leeds & Northrup. Device consists of a coil of manganin wound on a tube supported in a nickel-plated case.

Two heavy terminals protrude from the hard rubber top for suspension in mercury and connection to a standard bridge set in an oil bath. Each terminal has two binding posts, each with a knurl-edged adjustment screw. The rubber top has a circular opening for access to a center well.

            The resistance is 10000 Ohms.
