DescriptionApparatus mounted on a copper-colored metal base. At the right end of the base is a turning dial. The dial is attached to a screw that runs through a piece of metal. The screw becomes a black metal rod on the other side of the piece of metal. This bar extends across most of the length of the base and meets up with a small brass cylinder that is fixed to a larger black metal cylinder. The larger cylinder is fastened to a piece of metal that is rounded at the top. A brass cylinder, with a hole on one side, is fixed to the other side of the rounded piece of metal. A green spring runs from the large black cylinder to a binding post on the front left corner of the base. The binding post is sitting on a black metal plate. The exact function is unknown.
