DescriptionThe press is made of two rectangular plates. The bottom one is fixed. The upper one moves up and down with the vertical lever. The upper plate also has a screw that is used to adjust the relative height of that plate according to the thickness of what needed to be dry pressed. There is also one large ivory circular switch with off, high and low for settings. An electric cord is linked to it. The press runs on either 110 AC or DC electricity, producing between 300 to 1,200 Watts. Only the upper plate is heated. A thermometer is fixed to that plate. A plateau made in wood and metal slides on the bottom plate when not in use. The press can be bolted down on a hard surface.
