          DescriptionOne element in a set of four resistance shunts each mounted in cast frame. It has eight binding posts in total, four metal and four of an insulating material.

          This shunt has three ranges, 1, 5 and 20 amps, as indicated by round plaques near the corresponding binding posts. The ground posts are marked (0).

          It has a leather carrying handle, perforated vent on top and protection plate under.

          The frame of this one is dark grey..

          FunctionShunts divert most of the current away from a meter extending its range of operation and preventing damage. Depending on the desired range one connects the circuit to a different post on the shunt.
