        DescriptionHorizontal dial with a paper chapter ring calibrated from 4 -12-1-8 with 1/4 hour subdivisions. The gnomon is fixed at an angle of 41° 15'. The compass rose is divided into 16 points with the eight major points marked fleur-de-lys, "NE", "E", "SE", "S", "SW", "W",and "NW". There is a magnetic declination mark at approximately 10° W.,circular
