          DescriptionThis is a rocking microscope designed to cut very thin sections (1/100 of a micron) for use in electron microscopy. The instrument is largely made of steel with bronze castings. The various parts sit on a rectangular-shaped frame with a curved end.
          An operating lever raises the specimen holder toward the knife. The specimen holder is presently missing. There is a micrometer for accurate measurement.
