          DescriptionSurveyor's Y level made of gun metal. Typical telescopic sight mounted on Y standards attached to a horizontal arm. The bubble level is suspended below the telescope. The arm rotates over a horizontal spoked wheel divided into degrees 0°-90°-0°-90°-0°. There is a vernier.

          The instrument's horizontal scale is the top of two parallel plates with leveling screws between them. The lower plate is designed to sit on a tripod. The original tripod is listed as 5160b.

          Other accessories include a dust cover for telescope, wooden case, sunshade, and wrench.
