DescriptionMetal, split tail type wind vane, consisting of a rod with an arrowhead-shape at one end and two metal panels joined to form a v at the other. The metal panels are roughly rectangular, rounded where they join, at the point of the v, and held apart at the wide end with bracing.
The wind vane rod is attached to a metal upright in such as way as to allow free rotation of the wind vane. A piece of wire is wound around the rod.
