DescriptionPlane table alidade with telescopic sight mounted on a column that also serves as a handle.

The telescope is flared and greenish in color. It is fitted with a horizontal silvered arc with vernier. A screw is mounted on the other side to adjust the angle. A bubble level (stored in the case) is designed to fit along the telescope. It has a spring-loaded clip to fasten it to the telescope.

The column that supports the telescope is covered in black leather.

The alidade base is fitted with a round bubble level and a trough compass. The trough compass has a needle brake. One long edge of the base is beveled. The brass is covered with black paint, which is bubbled up in places.

The fitted case stores the aforementioned bubble level, sun shade, and a needle mounted into a twig. The case is padded in places with chamois. It has spring-loaded latch hooks.

A paper label inside the case indicates that 1 division on the telescope level is equal to 60 seconds, and the stadia constant is 100.
