Material
DescriptionThe box contains a great assortment of lenses, 77 in all, which are put in pairs into a specially designed spectacle frame. There are also in the box two one-slit gutta-percha optical disks, an empty steel ring, and a perforated steel disk. Three tinted glass slides of varying hues of blue (12 cm x 3 cm) complete the set. The spectacles can hold two different lenses on each side. The lenses are separated in columns marked "concav" and "convex". The numbers associated with the lenses are the common ones used in optometry. The cover is held in place by a simple hook.
