DescriptionThis light guide is formed of 10 trapezoidal plates of acrylic glued to form a polyhedron. The plates are spaced farther from each other at the bottom than they are at the top. Acrylic spacers are glued between the plates at the bottom. There is a spherical concave surface at the top that matches the surface of the photo-cathode tube (2003-1-0281a).
Three light-emitting diodes are glued into some acrylic blocks on one side near the top. They have gold connectors. The diodes are to test the instrument.
