        DescriptionThe T-square is constituted of a long, unfinished wooden arm with clear, yellow plastic edges attached to a shorter, black-painted wooden end piece by four small, iron, flat-head screws. There is a hole in the free end of the long arm for hanging the T-square. The plastic edges are riddled with cracks and a few chunks have broken off. No inscriptions or marks.

        FunctionT-squares are used primarily for drawing horizontal lines, relative to some fixed perpendicular rule like the side of a draftsmen's table. They can also be used to aid in the drawing of triangles or the squaring off of various materials in construction.
