            DescriptionThis camera lucida is an accessory to Charles S. Minot's Zeiss laboratory microscope with stand I (inv. 1123a). It is stored in a little box inside the case of the Zeiss microscope.

            The instrument consists of a nickel-plated cylinder like a microscope ocular with a prism attached. There is a rectangular glass filter. The wooden box is fitted for the instrument and lined in dark burgundy velvet.
