DescriptionSimple mercury thermometer with elongated bulb and small glass loop at top end for hanging. Centigrade scale, going from -10° to 50° by 0.1° increments. Numerals of the scale are engraved into glass and between -4° and 4° they are worn off. Residue of scotch tape in two places -- approximately halfway along, and again near the bulb. Case is a black cardboard tube.
In pencil on side of case one can read: "-10-50C in 1/10". And on the octagonal sticker on larger half of case: "-10° - +50° / by 0.°1 [sic]".
