Material
DescriptionThis bubble level belongs to a watchmaker's transit (1997-1-1834a). It has two graduated windows and is likely filled with alcohol. The chamber is held by precision screws in two A-frame brackets. These grip the upright frame of the transit so that the level remains horizontal (as opposed to striding across the top of the instrument).
