The flat mahogany case (1069d) has its steel key and holds various accessories in slots and a storage compartment. Fittings are cushioned with red velvet.
Accessories include 9 glass slides, some cover glasses wrapped up in notebook paper, a blue glass filter, two oculars (the third is on the microscope), 1 bull's eye condenser, and a small cardboard box of covers glasses marked in ink "Nachet / 1/100 inch." The latter box is rimmed in green lines.
