DescriptionA telephone receiver, consisting of a hemispherical nickel-plated instrument case topped by a hard-rubber earpiece. A slot-headed screw in the center of the back of the case attaches a curved, flat metal tab with a hanging hook. On one side, a short length of grey cloth-covered wire emerges from the back of the case
The black molded earpiece is dish shaped with rounded edges, with a circular opening in the base of the dish through which part of a silver a diaphragm may be seen. The earpiece has a chip on along one edge.
