DescriptionRS0486 Wooden storage box, 19th century, painted green on exterior. Front exterior painted "E.S.C./LETTERS." Paper label nailed to the upper left interior of the lid has typed "AROOSTOOK LETTERS. / 1890-91", and a blue stamped "20". On the left side a lever actuated leaf-type 2-pole double-throw switch is attached, and below is a brass knob.
