Metal plate reads: "Signal Corps US Army / Projector, still picture AP-4(1) / Serial 213 Contract No. AF33(600)-33570 / Charles Beseler Company, East Orange, New Jersey / 115 Volts, AC-DC 750 Watts". Marked "3" with paint on top of removable cover.
Olive green in color, which strongly suggests it was Army surplus. Judging from the Air Force contract number, this slide projector was made in the late 1950s.
Was used with the large collection of 4x4 glass slides (see 2004-1-0264a and 2004-1-0264b).
