DescriptionThis is a 300-series folding camera, model 335, with a black body and collapsible bellows on scissor struts. It is equipped with a 114 mm f/8.8, three-element glass lens, an electronic shutter, a rigid and separate-window viewfinder and rangefinder assembly, an aperture-priority automatic exposure system only, settings for B&W and color films, a built-in electronic development timer (on which is still the manufacturer peel-off tag) and an exposure compensation dial. It also has a nylon neck strap and a protective plastic cover for the lens. Numbers have been added to different parts of the camera to help explain how it was used.
This example here comes with a cold clip on which instructions are provided. The "Polaroid Cold-Clip #193" is clipped at the back of the camera. It consists of two pieces of metal taped together that were used to develop an instant film in colder temperature (recommended when temperature was below 65°F).
It is interesting to notice the family resemblances between the Polaroid cameras of different series. This one here is similar to model 330, which is similar to model 320, which is similar to model 210, which is similar to model 104, which is similar to model 103, which is similar to model 101, which is similar to model 100, going back to the early to mid 1960s.
