DescriptionThis is a black painted wood model of a Polaroid camera, likely a prototype body design for a new Polaroid instant camera (perhaps a non-folding SX-70 model). There are two circular pieces of glass on the front of the camera where the lens and viewfinder would be in similar Polaroid models. Along the bottom edge of the camera, beneath the eyepiece is a small white square with the number "7" printed on it. The "7" probably indicated the location of the film exposure counter. The black circular piece with white notched outer edge, located on the side of the camera's face, probably represents a distance setting or manual focus.
