        DescriptionA ribbon lamp or discharge tube, consisting of a long, tubular, clear glass bulb with a pointed tip. Inside, two sturdy metal filament supports, one shorter and one longer, curve inward and between them thin flat strip of metal is stretched.

        The bulb has a metal, screw-type mount.
