DescriptionThe prism is secured in place between a cast brass circular platform and a square brass header. There are four columns between the top plate and base. These are hollow brass tubes held in place by screws at each corner.
The mount is supported by three leveling screw feet. The screws are knurled and gilt as is the edge of the base. The top of the base platform is blackened.
The 60° prism is chipped on several edges. The polished faces are rectangular, 2 x 3.5 inches.
