          DescriptionThis is a Watson & Sons high power binocular compound microscope. The instrument is constructed of brass with the body, nosepiece, arm, and foot finished in black enamel. The large binocular body has a knurled focus ring on the right eyepiece tube and is fitted with a three-objective revolving nosepiece. The coarse
          focus is by rack and pinion.

          The microscope has a square stage with a hard rubber top. It is fitted with stage clips and a clamp-on mechanical stage manufactured by E. Leitz. Substage equipment includes a plug-in condenser with an iris diaphragm and a swing out filter holder. A mirror sits below on an adjustable tail piece.

          The entire instrument is supported by a heavy u-shaped base.

          There is a standing wooden case for storage.
