DescriptionCompass needle and dial supported on two heavy perpendicular rods which also carry two adjustable cross pieces - the upper one with a nickel-brass dial graduated 0-90-0-90 over which turns a rectangular heavy brass rod with pointer and in rod a magnet in wood dowel. All mounted on round stand (8" diameter) three legs & leveling screws. Small round level on stand. Compass scale 0-360 by half degree divisions.
0325a: Compass needle and dial supported by a wooden frame.
0325b: Nickel-brass graduated dial over which turns a rectangular heavy brass rod with pointer and in rod a magnet in a wood dowel.
325 c & d: Two other magnets in wood dowels (3" and 4"). Neither fit this instrument but are included here to keep track of.
