DescriptionA fiber cylinder wound with heavy bore resistance wire. The cylinder is turned by a handle, and supported horizontally on brackets. A length of cord is wound around one of the brackets, and is tipped on both ends with thin wire. These elements, plus two small binding posts, are mounted on a wooden base. A slider, in contact with the wire, moves along a notched scale as the cylinder is turned.
