DescriptionA fiber cylinder mounted vertically with bore resistance wire wrapped around it. A circular plate on top bears an un-numbered scale, a small knob, and a central pivot with a small horizontal attachment. These elements are mounted on a rectangular wooden base with two small binding posts. A vertical scale, nailed to the wooden base, extends upwards to the top of the cylinder. The mounting is most likely not original to this instrument.
