DescriptionPair of 1 inch strips of heavy copper with an additional piece bolted to each in the center at a gap in the 1" strips stata has fiber pieced stamped 10 AMP. Two cross strips also of copper hold the two pieces parallel- nuts and bolts.

FunctionShuts that are used with meters divert most of the electricity so that it does not pass through the meter. This extends the range of the meter without damaging it.
