DescriptionThis resistance box consists of four large coils of 25000 ohms each. These are mounted on the underside of hard rubber panel with jacks protruding through it so that any coil may be shorted out from on top with a plug. There are four binding posts on top (two were possibly added later). As presently wired, two coils are associated with each pair of posts. The coils may not be accurate because the numbers have been altered, in pencil to 27100, 25600, 26800, and 26900.
The instrument is housed in a rectangular wooden case with a hard metal panel on the top.
