DescriptionA metal-faced voltmeter housed in a square oak box with half-flap hinged cover. Top of cover has metal brackets for a leather handle; but handle is missing. Inside the case, the top of the instrument face has three bakelite binding posts, labeled "150," "15"and "+." Case houses a permanent magnet type movement.The face of the instrument is textured metal, and has a raised circular disk and a cutout fan-shaped display window. Through the window may be seen a scale, marked 0-150, above an arc-shaped mirrored strip, with an indicator needle. Below the scale is printed, "VOLTMETER MODEL 45 NO. 15446."
