Material
DescriptionResistance box consisting of a wooden base supporting a hard-rubber top cover. On that cover is fixed ten rows of ten brass blocks underneath which are a coil connecting one block to the other. Between each pair of blocks would once have been a removable brass plug (eleven are present now). There are also two binding posts at one end of the cover. The numbers found besides the blocks are the resistance values of the coils. (Marked 1,10,100,1000,10000).
