DescriptionThis device would have been solidly clamped to a table before use. It consists of two large pulleys linked to two smaller ones to increase the rotational speed of a Maxwell color disk (missing here) that would have been attached at the top, on the other side of the pulley system. A handle is found on the larger wheel at the bottom.
Sections of the original leather strips are still extent but in poor condition; they are now stored separately in a ziploc bag.
