DescriptionTwo pillars support the body tube, which has coarse focus by means of a draw tube. Fine focus is by means of a knurled screw on one of the lower pillars below the stage. Turning the screw raises and lowers the stage, which rides between the pillars. A condensor is attached to an arm fitted to the sleeve of the body tube. Substage apparatus is a pivoting concave mirror.
Accessories include a disk of frosted glass with a polished concave center, which can sit on the stage. Objectives are marked 1, 2, and 3. There is a fitted box, which holds a pair of forceps and a prepared slide of "Trichinos Spiralis of Human's muscles."
