DescriptionThe apparatus is supported on a three-cornered flat wooden base on three low wooden feet. Mounted on the top face of the base, in each corner, is a metal adjustment screw with a knurled edge.
Rising from a rectangular brass plate mounted on the base are a pair of brass rods, connected at the top with a horizontal bar, also featuring a knurled-edge adjustment screw. At the base of the rod assembly is a brass plate inscribed in script, "Louis Queen & Comp. Philadelphia."
A metal support attached at two points to the base connects to the pair of brass rods at an angle about halfway up, bracing them in place with a horizontal bar.
