A leather strap fixed on one leg is used to bind the tripod together when not in use. Each leg is ended by a metallic pointed cone for a better grip. The plane table is fixed on the mount found at the top of the tripod. Two wingnuts stacked on each other are used to achieve this end. The top part of the mount has to be removed in order to attach the table.
