          DescriptionQuintant with a blackened brass lattice [ladder] frame with a silver limb and an inlaid silver scale. It has a 6.75" radius, -5° to 155° scale, subdivided to 10.'

          There is a vernier screw under the reinforced brass index arm, vernier magnifier, ribbed index arm, diamond lattice frame, 4 index shades and 3 horizon shades.

          It is stored in an orange-shellacked mahogany box.
