          DescriptionThis quintant is made of blackened brass with a lattice [ladder] frame. there is an inlaid silver scale and vernier on the reinforced brass index arm, and a holder for a magnifying glass [vernier maginfier] with the lens missing. There is an adjustable mirror with four fixed glass shades, and a horizon glass that can be adjusted with a pin. the telescope has an adjustable sight vane. There is a fixed wooden handle below the frame.

          It has a 7.25" radius, 4 index shades, 3 horizon shades, 0 to 10 vernier to 10" (0 right), -5° to 150° scale.

          It has a mahogany keystone box.
