Description1309k is the focussing gear to adjust microscope from the back of the camera. It is a brass linkage attached to a pillar secured to a corner of the projection table. At one end is a socket to attach an arm to the focusing knob of the microscope. At the other end of the gear train is a joint that can be connected to a long wood pole tipped in brass. When not in use the pole rests in a tray alongside the camera stand.
