          Description1167c is a set of 3 Leitz test slides:

          (1) Macroglassa stellasarum for testing 10 mm
          Prepared by "H. BOECKER / WETZLAR." and marked "Mikroscopisches / Institut."

          (2) Pleurosigma angulatum for test. diat. [broken fragment]
          signed by Leitz

          (3) Lurirella gemma for testing immersion lenses. [broken fragments]
          signed by Leitz

          Two fragments of slides no. 2 or 3 are printed "Ernst L[eitz] / Wetzlar."

          All of the test slides are stored in a wooden box with grooves for the slides. One label on the box lid is hard to read, except for a crayoned "90." A smaller label in brown ink reads "TEST PLATES."

          Curatorial RemarksNote by Will Andrewes in box says that the slides broke on October 18, 1990 when the box fell from its shelf.
