Material
DescriptionCylindrical body with conical top. Found as covering for the Nachet photomicrographic microscope (1279a), but clearly of a later vintage. Base is a steel ring. There is a small rough nickel-sized hole at the very top. Plastic is yellowing with age and seam between body and "roof" has begun to fail.
