DescriptionThis is a brass mounting for a prism. The upright frame of brass would have held a 60° prism (now missing) that was one glued to a cork base within the frame. At present a triangular piece of flat glass sits on the cork in the frame.
This frame is soldered to a brass disk, which serves as the base. The base has three holes for the leveling screws that once held it to a tri-lobe bracke. The screws and bracket are missing.
