DescriptionTwo triangular plates held together by turned brass rods support a cog wheel, which rotates on a brass axle. A vertical worm gear is put against the cog wheel. A handle (missing) would have been used to turn the worm gear, which in turn would put the wheel in rotation.

There is an old Harvard number stamped twice on one of the triangular plates: 18 21.
