      DescriptionFoam-insulated photometer with a red vinyl covering secured by a draw-string. The photometer is made of grey metal and glass. The opening for the light source is a shutter operated by a plunger. There are two large openings at the top, possibly for cooling the instrument.

      Curatorial RemarksRobert Stefanik of the CfA thinks that it might have been cooled with ice via the two tubes at the top.
