DescriptionA mercury-vapor light, or HG lamp (similar in appearance to item RS1453). Has a pear-shaped, long-necked, clear glass bulb with a standard Edison-style brass screw mount. Inside, the bulb has a glass base, with two leads proceeding from it. The leads are connected at the top by a coiled-spring type filament, shaped into a point, which points toward the top of the bulb.
There are particles of mercury inside the bulb, adhering to the leads, and a small pool of liquid mercury. Bulb has discoloration.
