          DescriptionThis is a Unitron inverted phase compound microscope. The instrument is constructed out of brass and finished in silver. The stage and phase condenser are located on top of the instrument. The binocular eyepieces and objectives are beneath the stage.

          Curatorial RemarksAccording to the label on case and provisions on stand, this microscope had a built-in illuminator which is missing. Possibly, the illuminator listed under 2003-1-0034 was used with this instrument. Some of the hardware included in accessories does not appear to belong to this instrument.
