DescriptionThis device is a rectangular two lantern slide changer that has been adapted for use in psychological experiment or demonstration. Specifically, to make actual movement vs. apparent movement experiments. There are two interchangeable brass plates, marked "1-2" and "3-4," which can be used in different experiments (each side of these plates have different rectangular openings). There is one other brass plate, the top one, that is attached to a spring. It is held in place by small holes punched on one side of the plate, a simple key releasing the plate to start the experiment.
