DescriptionA Weston portable wattmeter, housed in a rectangular wooden case with a hard rubber top. Inside the instrument is a permanent current coil of 12 turns of heavy wire with voltage coil of fine wire rotating within, connected to a pointer. Multiplier resistance included in case. Dial set in top (hand calibrated). Instrument has two heavy brass binding posts, a push button and three cylindrical adjustment knobs.
On the top of the instrument, is an arc-shaped display window showing the instrument scale and indicator needle. The scale is marked in increments from 0-1500w.
